It is important to us that the guest gets to know the certain peculiarities of the house in advance. Furthermore, it is an advantage if there is time to fill out the registration confirmation and to read the meter readings so that this can be done properly. Furthermore, you should be given the opportunity to report any damage that has already occurred so that you do not have to take responsibility for it.

Unfortunately, it has happened time and again that guests have moved furniture from one room to another, causing major damage. We are therefore forced to strictly prohibit the moving of furniture.
Damage, such as broken glass or similar small items, can happen quickly. Therefore, these must be reported to us before departure and the damage incurred must be compensated.
Smoking is permitted outdoors and in the designated smoking areas. Smoking is not permitted in the other rooms.
Waste separation is an important issue for us. We therefore have a room at our properties where waste is collected and separated. Here we expect compliance with our local separation standards, which are categorized as follows:
• Glass (colored and white glass)
• Paper and cardboard
• Metals and plastics (including metal foils, plastic bottles, films, plastic packaging materials and tetra packs)
• organic waste
• Ash and cigarette butts
• Bottled cooking oil should be taken to the household waste collection point
• Residual waste (everything that does not fall under the above categories or is excluded below)
The disposal of oil, food waste, hair etc. via the drains is not permitted. We cannot accept batteries and hazardous waste. These must be taken back with you. If the waste separation does not work, we reserve the right to ask you to take your waste with you and dispose of it yourself.

FAQs about the Römerhütte holiday home
Our kitchens are each equipped with an electric stove with 4 hotplates, an oven, refrigerator, microwave, filter coffee machine, dishwasher, sink, sufficient crockery and cutlery, as well as glasses, pots and pans.
The journey from Heiligenblut to the Römerhütte holiday home is as follows:
1. Unload your luggage in front of the valley station of the “Rossbach” cable car and take your luggage and groceries into the station.
2. Park your cars in the Heiligenblut parking garage.
3. Take your luggage from the lower area of the valley station up to the cable car via the elevator (please use only one of the elevators so as not to disrupt ski operations). Please do not walk through the turnstile with your luggage, but go around the outside into the station and report to the lift attendant, telling him that you are arriving at the Römerhütte holiday home. We will inform them that you are arriving on that day and how many people are arriving. They will give you specific information on where exactly you can store your luggage until everything has been collected at the station. The lift attendant will guide you, but it is not their job to transport your luggage.
4. Once all the luggage has been collected, most of the group will be sent ahead to the middle station, while the remaining people (usually 3-4 people) will load the luggage into the gondolas, depending on how busy the ski resort is (if it is very busy, only every 3rd or 4th gondola will be available for luggage transport). The people who went ahead will unload the luggage at the middle station.
5. At the middle station, the luggage is collected again and then people are sent ahead again at the “Schareck” cable car and the procedure is repeated.
6. Now that you have arrived at Schareck, take the luggage to the Panoramabahn, which goes down to Fallbichel, and repeat the process with the luggage again.
7. Once you arrive at the valley station of the Panoramabahn, you will meet one of our team members. We will arrive at the valley station of the Panoramabahn with our snowmobiles and trailers. Here, you will load your luggage onto the vehicles. Part of your group will be sent directly to the Römerhütte holiday home to unload, while the other part of the group will remain at the valley station of the Panoramabahn until all the luggage has been delivered to the house. This usually requires 4-7 trips.
The luggage should be packed in such a way that it is protected against moisture and light impacts as it is transported by snowmobile. We recommend closed boxes, suitcases or cardboard boxes. Plastic bags are unsuitable as they tear too easily. We recommend that you label your luggage with the name of the Römerhütte and the dates of your stay so that you can easily distinguish your luggage if you meet a predecessor or successor group on arrival or departure.
In the past, guests have repeatedly chosen to take the direct route to the Römerhütte holiday home and arrived there completely exhausted. Please refer to the following image, which shows the winter trail between the valley station of the Panoramabahn cable car and the Römerhütte holiday home marked with red arrows.
Yes, there is a satellite TV in every kitchen.
No, there are no drinks available at the Römerhütte, please bring your own.
In winter usually from 14:00. In summer usually from 17:00.
As the arrival to our house is only possible via the lifts and these close at 16:00, the arrival should be planned as early as possible so that any delays due to traffic jams, accidents, unforeseeable weather conditions, etc. can still be compensated. It must also be possible for us to leave the high plateau via the lifts before 16:00. – For this reason, no luggage will be delivered to the house after 14:30.
Someone from us will come to the valley station of the Panoramabahn with a snowmobile and trailer. Guests are then responsible for loading and unloading this vehicle themselves under supervision. We recommend that one part of the group takes over the loading and another part the unloading. Passenger transportation is not possible.
Organizationally, it is not possible for luggage to be transported on days other than the 1st and last day of booking.
It is not possible to take garbage away from the house in winter. This can only be done from the end of May. Therefore, the waste must be stored at the house in the meantime. We will show you on site how waste separation is carried out in a regionally fair manner.
The sauna has 2 controls. One is used to set the temperature, the other to set how long the sauna is heated for. The light in the sauna is linked to the controller with the time.
On the day of departure, one of us will come to the house (usually between 08:30 and 09:00) to settle the service charges and to take over the house. The luggage is then delivered to the valley station of the Panoramabahn.
On the day of departure, someone from us will come to the house at a previously agreed time (usually between 09:00 and 11:00) to carry out the service charge settlement and to take over the house. The house is then no longer available.
Unfortunately there is no bread roll service. Our recommendation: get some baked bread which you can prepare in the oven for breakfast.
To ensure that the lift operation is not impaired, only one of the two elevators should be used for transporting luggage and food. Please do not go through the ticket machine with your luggage, but around the outside to the exit for descents. Let the lift staff at the valley station know that you are arriving at Ferienhaus Römerhütte and ask them where you can best leave your luggage – this is helpful so that the lift operation is not impaired.
No, arrival and departure via the gondola lifts is free of charge. The lift staff will be informed about arrivals and departures and the whole thing is possible without any red tape. Should individual persons arrive or depart on a different day, please let us know. We will then pass this information on.
We draw our water from our own spring, which is tested and is of good quality.
We recommend that you park your car in our parking garage during your stay. Although parking there is subject to a fee, you will enjoy the following advantages:
• Comfort without stress: no shoveling snow, no worrying about available parking spaces.
• Security: your car is protected.
• Relaxed start: while your car is safely parked, you can start your skiing fun directly from the vacation home.
If you want to start your winter vacation relaxed from the very beginning, it is best to park in the parking garage in Heiligenblut.

Advance booking is currently not possible. However, the weekly ticket has been adjusted: it is now valid for 7 days + 10 hours. This also applies to all other long-term parking rates. (e.g., from Saturday 9:00 a.m. to Saturday one week later at 7:00 p.m.)
This is decided on a case-by-case basis. There is no blanket solution. As a general rule, anyone who leaves during the week pays again—just like in any other parking garage.
The maximum entrance height of the Heiligenblut parking garage is 2.04 m for the first parking deck and less than 2 m for parking decks 3 and 4.
In winter, cars that are too tall for the parking garage can be parked in the so-called black parking area, which is marked on the following map. The ski bus can be used to return to the valley station (please note the ski bus timetable).
